With the launch of iPhone 16 only a couple of months away – the WWDC24 rolled out sneak peeks about Apple Intelligence (AI) a set of AI tools coming to iPhones, iPads, and Macs, using a large language model for a personalized experience.
Apple has incorporated its Neural Engine Neural Processing Unit into Apple’s processors for several generations – but in this WWDC24, the Cupertino-based tech giant announced that it will use Neural Engines to bring generative and large language models that can run on-device on its main Apple products.
